The Idea Behind Dante Projects
Dante Projects was founded in February 2018. Its focus is on the development, licensing, and marketing of technical innovations, especially in safety-related applications and forward-looking protection systems.
The starting point was the conviction that existing systems are often not sufficiently prepared for new threat scenarios. This led to the ambition to develop technical solutions that detect risks early, support emergency forces, and better protect people in sensitive or public areas.
This motivation gave rise to the concepts of the Amok Brake and the Intelligent Barricade, which today form the core of Dante Projects.
Marcus Lohr
Marcus Lohr is the founder and managing director of Dante Projects UG (haftungsbeschränkt). His professional career is shaped by many years of hands-on experience in security and building technology, complemented by technical expertise in electrical engineering, information technology, prototyping, and embedded systems.
His qualifications include training as a state-certified electrical engineering technician specializing in information technology, as well as a trainer qualification. He also brings extensive professional experience from projects involving fire alarm systems, intrusion detection technology, access control, video surveillance, and custom solutions for security-critical infrastructures.
This combination of practical experience, innovative strength, and technical development forms the foundation of Dante Projects.
