The Intelligent Barricade is an innovative protection system for securing public spaces and events. It combines physical vehicle barriers with sensors, communication technology, and real-time monitoring.
Technology
Conventional barricades often serve only as a visual deterrent and do not provide effective protection against vehicles. The Intelligent Barricade was developed to close this gap and combine physical and digital security functions.
The system features an integrated 360° camera system and can be controlled remotely via encrypted internet connections or operated autonomously. The barricade also includes a chassis, allowing mobile deployment for events or demonstrations.
During operation, the body is lowered hydraulically so that its own weight rests stably on the ground. The impact force of a vehicle is distributed into the ground across the full contact surface.
